Pennco Tool & Die, Inc. was founded in 1980 in Meadville Pennsylvania “The Tool & Die Capital of the World” and is known nationally for our precision tooling that supports this country’s leading manufactures. We specialize in close tolerance tooling that serves all industries that require the manufacturing of precision dies, gages, tooling, fixtures, assemblies and custom machining.

About Us

Pennco Tool & Die was founded in 1980 by Phil Passilla Sr. We started out as a grind and conventional mill shop. In 1985 Phil Passilla Jr. was brought into the business as the 2nd generation. In 1998 Phil Jr. added on to our shop and expanded the business by adding a wire electrical discharge machine (WEDM) department, Sinker EDM department, and a small CNC mill department. In 2018 Casey and Cody Passilla entered the business as the 3rd generation with the goal of expanding the CNC department. In 2022 we added a second location where we moved all of our existing CNC equipment. Since then, we have added CNC capabilities such as 5 axis machining and CNC turning. In the near future we have plans to add a fabrication department so we can be a one stop shop for our customers.

Highly Skilled Toolmakers

We specialize in close tolerance tooling that serves all industries that require the use of dies, gauges, tooling, fixtures, assemblies, and custom machining. Our highly skilled Tool & Die makers are capable of machining carbide and steel to a tolerance of +/-(.00005) of an inch. We utilize the latest, most accurate, efficient technologies available today.

Highly skilled CNC Machinist

Our CNC department consist of a wide variety of specialized machines and experienced operators/programmers to consistently provide close tolerance precision parts for our customers. We work with a large variety of materials and sizes in our CNC shop. We mainly specialize in vertical milling, 5 axis milling, hard milling, and turning.
